North Texas won't see changes in the weather pattern until possibly the end of the week and into the weekend as temperatures remain in the low triple digits. A high grass fire danger will continue as well.
There are signs of a weak cold front settling close to the area Friday and Saturday, giving North Texas a little hope for some scattered showers and storms and slightly cooler temperatures.
Monday is expected to be the 52nd straight day with no measurable rain and the 30th day with a high temperature of at least 100 degrees.
