Our main weather story... increasing rain chances into the weekend and through the middle of next week.
At least we'll enjoy a couple of mainly dry days today and tomorrow, as dryer across north Texas continues to deflect the showers and storms to our west and south.
This all changes this weekend and into the middle of next week, as our atmosphere starts to moisten up. This combined with an upper level low creeping our direction from the south and daytime heating Will produce mainly afternoon and evening showers and non severe thunderstorms through The middle of next week.

There's no way to pinpoint exactly where the heaviest rain will fall at this time. It all depends on where the upper level low is situated each day over the next 5 days.
You'll definitely want to monitor the weather through the middle of next week for potential flash flooding....the soil is very saturated.
Afternoon highs will jump up into the low eighties if you see sunshine but quickly fall into the seventies in the rain.
As of now, I am not expecting any storms to become severe, but heavy tropical downpours will be the main threat.
