A few of you lucky ones saw some early evening showers and storms yesterday! 0.08" of rain was measured officially at DFW airport. Some areas in Collin and Dallas counties saw a quick half inch of rain!

All is quiet this morning. We do have some low clouds streaming through the area and temperatures are in the low to mid 70s. Plenty of sunshine for this afternoon, breezy and hot conditions will prevail. There's also a very slight chance of a late day shower or storm, especially southeast of DFW... 1 or 2 may sneak into DFW if you're lucky, but it's doubtful today.
More of the same tomorrow through the weekend with a few isolated showers and storms possible. High temperatures will reach the low to mid 90s.
The big weather change arrives on Monday as a cold front sags into the area. This combined with an upper level low that'll get trapped across Texas next week will produce scattered showers and thunderstorms through the week. The most widespread rain will be on Monday and Tuesday...some storms could be strong, especially on Monday. Highs will range from 85 to 90 degrees.
