Dallas (1080 KRLD) - An area of low pressure has moved to near San Antonio overnight, with an unnamed storm occurring in the Gulf of Mexico overnight.
This area of low pressure is moving rapidly to the northwest. This will produce widespread showers and isolated thunderstorm activity in the southeast of Dallas by late morning and especially this afternoon.
Everything will be moving from southeast to northwest over the next several days. This type of weather pattern produces most of the rainfall during the day and it'll dissipate after sunset. However, if you're close to the circulation, you'll see rain throughout the night.

Looking to next week, and this rainy weather pattern will continue with a 30-50% chance of rain on Monday and Tuesday, steadily dropping as the week progresses.
