It's still winter, but the weather conditions will not feel like it anytime soon. Wednesday began with a low cloud bank moving in from the south, but the clouds will clear out by mid-to-late morning. It will be sunny with afternoon highs nearing 80 degrees again. A south wind will blow at 10 to 20 mph.
By late afternoon, a cold front will move into the area, bringing clouds and a few showers, mainly east of Interstate 35W. It will be windy and cooler Thursday morning with low temperatures in the mid-to-upper 40s, which is close to average for this time of year.
The spring-like weather pattern will continue through the end of the week and weekend. Thursday will be sunny with cooler temperatures, and readings will top out in the upper 60s. A north wind will blow at 10 to 20 mph. It'll be back in the 40s for Friday morning, followed by plenty of sunshine and afternoon highs reaching the mid-70s. This pattern will repeat on Saturday.
South winds will pick up on Sunday, with a few more clouds, but warmth will remain, and most areas will top out near 80 degrees.
Next week will start off partly cloudy, breezy, and warm, with temperatures topping out in the low 80s. The next storm system will approach on Tuesday.
