I hope you enjoyed the welcome rain early yesterday morning. Most areas averaged about a 1/2 of an inch but some isolated spots saw over 2" of welcome rain! We now have a surplus of about a quarter of an inch for the year.
We are starting off in the upper sixties to mid seventies across North Texas at this hour. Quite comfortable for this time of the year. A few lucky ones will see a late day shower or storm today. High temperatures will reach the mid nineties, like we did yesterday. Any storms that do form today will dissipate after sunset.
Tomorrow through the upcoming weekend… a pretty simple forecast. Plenty of sunshine, wind, and heat will dominate our weather.
Daytime highs will reach the mid nineties... morning lows will fall into the mid to upper seventies. No rain is at the forecast at this time.
Some of the extended data I have been analyzing this morning is bringing rain chances back next week, but that is still days away and is subject to change.
In the meantime, enjoy the weather, when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
