More warmth and wind for North Texas
National Weather Service - Fort Worth

Can you believe it? We hit 94゚ yesterday at DFW. It came close to breaking the record. Today will be warm and so will tomorrow, but not as warm as yesterday.

We're starting off this morning in the sixties and upper fifties, we'll reach the mid eighties today, near 80 tomorrow with more clouds than sun.

Our weather change arrives after midnight into early Wednesday morning, as a line of showers and storms clouds blows through here while you're sleeping. Damaging wind and small hail will be the main threat. An isolated weak tornado is always possible along the leading edge of a squall line. Everything should be east of us by your morning commute Wednesday morning.

Breezy and cooler weather with low relative humidity will be our weather story Wednesday with highs in the low to mid 70s. Near 70 for Thursday, mid seventies Friday with plenty of sunshine.

The weekend looks nice with a slight chance of rain early Saturday morning, becoming sunny, breezy and cool by afternoon. Highs in the low seventies. Sunny mid seventies for Sunday.

It's a pretty simple forecast, we need the rain, but not to severe weather. Unfortunately only a 1/2 inch to 3/4 of an inch of rain will fall early Wednesday morning. Most of you won't see any rain Saturday morning.
