Hard to believe this, but we've got a bit of rain on radar this morning, mainly east of the mid-cities. There's another area of rain out in the northern Big Country between Abilene and Wichita Falls and it's heading our direction. This being said, I can't rule out a few more light rain showers mid-morning through lunchtime ahead of a weak cold front.
Clouds will rapidly exit to our east by early this afternoon. Afternoon highs will reach the low 70s, as the air dries out big time! This will create a very high fire danger, especially west of 35W.

Clear, breezy and cool tonight with morning lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. Another cold front comes in the area tomorrow morning dropping temperatures into the mid to upper 50s for afternoon highs. Plenty of sunshine Friday with readings in the low 60s, but clouds will rapidly increase Friday night into Saturday morning. There's a very slight chance of some showers on Saturday with highs in the low to mid 50s. Back to sunshine, breezy and cool weather for Sunday with daytime temperatures in the mid 50s.
I'm going to keep an eye on our next weather maker that may impact us by late Monday into Tuesday. This may send us some chilly rain, however, this forecast is subject to change because it's still days away. It will stay cool into the early next week. Monday's high will be in the mid fifties, mid 40s on Tuesday.
