Our weather is in the process of doing a complete 180 this morning, as clouds are rolling in from the south, the cold front is lifting back to the north as a warm front, and temperatures are a little bit milder this morning than yesterday morning. Readings are mainly in the 60s. There's also some shower activity starting the surge northbound. These are located between Hillsboro and Corsicana and are rapidly heading to the NNE. The best rain chances today will be along and east of interstate 35W. Some areas could pick up a 1/2 inch to isolated higher totals. A few rumbles of thunder are possible as well. The severity should remain low, but it's not out of the question to get 1 or 2 warnings for wind.

A Flash Flood Watch goes into effect starting at 7:00 a.m. tomorrow morning and runs until Thursday 7:00 p.m.
Another area of showers and storms will form along a slow moving cold front that will try to head into the area tomorrow, but won't make it. Showers and storms will increase through the morning and afternoon. A few strong ones are possible. Average rain totals tomorrow will be between 1" to 2". Daytime highs both today and tomorrow will struggle to hit 80゚
The heaviest rain will fall on Thursday. We can thank the leftover tropical system, Pamela. This system will weaken as it crosses over Mexico to our SW. This remnant low will move across the Hill Country, then into central and east Texas during the day on Thursday. This will spread widespread shower and isolated thunderstorm activity over the same area during the day Thursday. Some areas could pick up over 3" of rain. This is why a Flash Food Watch has been issued.
Please stay weather aware for any flooding that occurs and turn around, don't drown.
On Friday morning, a strong cold front will move through the area. Clouds will rapidly decrease and the wind will pick up and gust the 30mph from the north. Whatever the temperature is when the front comes through, will be our high for the day. Temperatures will continue to fall down into the upper forties to low fifties for Saturday morning with high temperatures struggling to get out of the low seventies Saturday! Back in the forties for most of us on Sunday morning with highs in the mid seventies by afternoon! Heck yeah!
Have a great day and keep your umbrella handy!
