Much cooler weather has arrived, 20+ degrees below average

All that rain is now pressed into the southeastern United States, but there's more rain in our forecast through Wednesday.

All is quiet on the radar front this morning and temperatures have really cooled down. Readings range between 55 and 60゚ right now, with a north wind at 10 to 15 mph.

Temperatures will be on the cool side this week, with our chilliest days today, tomorrow, and Wednesday. High temperatures will range between 58 and 63 today and tomorrow and hover in the mid to upper fifties on Wednesday!

Scattered showers and a rumble of thunder are possible off and on today and tonight, but our best chances for rain will be the 1st half of tomorrow. Rain chances will continue into tomorrow night and Wednesday, but be more scattered in nature. I'm expecting rainfall totals to range anywhere between 1/2" and 1", with isolated higher totals south and east of DFW.

It will remain on the cool side on Thursday under a clear sky, with highs in the mid seventies, we'll approach 80゚ on Friday and reach the middle eighties by this weekend... as south winds really start to pick up.

As of now, I'm forecasting no rain this weekend, but I am going to keep an eye on Sunday, because data is conflicting as far as a rain chances go by then.

I do want to stress, no severe weather is in the forecast with our next rain event, just good soaking rains!

Enjoy your day, the rain and the cooler temperatures!
