It's a chilly start this morning...enjoy! Temperatures won't warm too much today as we top out into the low seventies. Get out and soak up some sunshine.
For those of you heading to Friday night lights, you'll need a light jacket as temperatures will fall into the upper fifties by halftime. Morning lows tomorrow will bottom out into the upper forties to low fifties again.
The weekend is looking nice, with a warming trend on the way. Clouds on Saturday may keep the temperatures down into the middle seventies, but a rapid warm up will take shape on Sunday, as readings top out in the mid eighties. I also want to mention it will be very windy this weekend as well.
By Sunday evening, a strong, but brief cold front will drop temperatures into the low to mid sixties for highs on Monday. Most of your weather apps will say mid seventies, but I disagree. We will see who wins this silly contest.
The cold front will rapidly moved to the north on Tuesday and may produce a few isolated showers. However, most will stay dry. Temperatures will warm back into the seventies.
Wednesday and Thursday will be uneventful, with a very slight chance of a shower. Also, morning low clouds will dominate with afternoon sunshine. Highs will be in the low eighties.
Our next cold front is poised to move through here next Friday, dropping temperatures into next weekend. There may be some showers or thunderstorms along this front as we will have had time for the surface moisture to pool across the area.
Some the extended data has another cold front late into next weekend, really dropping temperatures towards Halloween. We will see how that pans out!
