Alright folks, time to bust out those jackets because it's a chilly one out there this morning! Temperatures have plummeted into the 30s, and if you're hoping for some rain, well, keep on hoping, because it's going to be a looong wait.
That's right, a pretty stagnant weather pattern is here to stay for the next 7 days. Good morning, friends! Welcome to Tuesday! As I mentioned earlier, you'll definitely need to bundle up this morning, because it's a nippy one out there. Temperatures have dropped into the 30s across all of North Texas, and some of you might even have to scrape some frost off your windshields, so don't forget to warm those cars up before heading out!
Today's going to be a spectacular day, though, with a nice south breeze blowing at 10 to 20 mph and afternoon highs warming up into the low to mid 60s. Enjoy it while it lasts, folks!
The main storm track is way up north, so we won't be seeing any rain for the next 7 days. This also means that the chillier air is going to stay bottled up in Canada and the Northwestern territories for a while. Temperatures will keep slowly warming up through Friday, with plenty of sunshine to go around. Afternoon highs on Wednesday will be in the low 60s, sunny mid 60s on Thursday, and hey, we might even hit 70 degrees on Friday and Saturday.
Speaking of Saturday, high clouds will start rolling in, but don't worry, no rain is expected. By early Sunday morning, a strong cold front will give us a little wake-up call with some chilly air for Sunday and Monday. Unfortunately, this front isn't bringing us any rain either. There might be some light drizzle falling behind the front early Sunday afternoon, but that's about it. Nothing measurable is expected.
Temperatures will be much colder, though, with afternoon highs struggling to get above 50 degrees. And to make matters worse, a north wind will be blowing at 25 mph, making for a pretty crummy day.
Monday's looking partly cloudy and cool, with afternoon highs in the mid 50s. After that, we can expect a slow warm-up.
Thanks for following my page, folks! I hope you have an awesome day today, and remember, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade – and when life gives you weird weather, just roll with it, because it's the only weather you've got!
