Three cold fronts are coming to town, folks, and they're bringing chilly mornings, cool afternoons, and a possible rain chance that'll return late Monday into Tuesday of next week. Fingers crossed it actually happens, or I'll have to send my weather forecasting degree back for a refund.

Happy Wednesday, friends. Hope your work week has been fantastic so far. Don't forget to grab your jacket on the way out, it's a nippy 40 degrees outside. I'm tracking a cold front that'll sweep into North Texas later this morning, bringing north winds that'll make you wish you'd worn a scarf. These winds will gust up to 25 miles per hour, putting a bit of a chill in the air, especially since afternoon highs will only reach the low 60s. Unfortunately, this front won't bring any rain, so keep those umbrellas tucked away.

Thursday morning will be a chilly one, with temperatures dipping into the 30s in many areas. But don't worry, plenty of sunshine will dominate the day, with afternoon highs rebounding to the mid-60s. That's a bit above average for this time of year, so let's enjoy it while it lasts.

Our next cold front arrives late Friday afternoon, and we might even hit the 70-degree mark before the winds shift back to the north. No rain is expected with this front either, because why would we get rain when we need it.

Afternoon highs will be a bit cooler on Saturday, with high clouds streaming overhead, and readings will top out in the mid-60s.

A stronger cold front will move through the area while you're sleeping on Sunday morning, and this one won't bring any rain either. It'll knock temperatures down into the low 50s for highs, with increasing high clouds and wind chills in the 40s all day long. It'll be a cloudy, blustery day, perfect for staying indoors with a warm cup of coffee.

Clouds will stick around on Monday, and it'll remain chilly, with afternoon highs topping out in the mid-50s. But don't worry, an area of rain will start to move in from the southwest late Monday night. Initially, a lot of it will evaporate before it reaches the ground, but by Tuesday, areas of light to moderate rain will spread across the area. Temperatures will hold steady in the 50s all day long, and no severe weather is expected, so let's just enjoy the rain while it lasts.

That's a look at your forecast discussion for Wednesday, December 10th. Hope everyone has an awesome day, and please enjoy the weather when you can, because it's the only weather you've got.
