A prolonged period of unseasonably warm weather is expected to persist for the next five days, with a possibility of record-breaking heat by next Monday. Additionally, rainfall may return to the forecast starting next Wednesday, with some instances potentially being heavy at times.

Good morning and welcome to Friday. Fortunately, it has been a relatively warm week, and this warm weather pattern is expected to continue for the next five days. We are waking up to temperatures in the upper 50s to low 60s, with some low cloud cover and a southerly breeze. It will be another breezy day today, with afternoon highs reaching the low 80s and south winds gusting up to 30 mph.

If you have outdoor plans this weekend, proceed with them. Afternoon highs will reach the low 80s again on Saturday and mid 70s on Sunday, with morning low clouds and afternoon sunshine. Enjoy the weather while it lasts, remember it is November!.

A high-pressure system in the upper levels of the atmosphere will continue to dominate our weather through next Tuesday, potentially leading to record-breaking heat on Monday, with afternoon highs reaching the mid-to-upper 80s. Low-to-mid 80s will persist on Tuesday, with more clouds than sunshine.

Beyond the five-day forecast, things can change, but current data suggests a cold front stalling across the area on Wednesday and Thursday, accompanied by a dynamic upper-level low producing waves of heavy rain across North Texas. There is also a possibility of severe weather late Thursday, depending on the front's position and the track of the upper-level low. The speed of the upper-level low will determine the amount of rainfall we can expect across North Texas. This is an evolving situation, and I will continue to monitor it, providing accurate updates as new data becomes available.

One thing is certain: we will return to near-normal temperatures by the end of next week, with lows in the 40s and afternoon highs in the 60s. Have a great Friday, a wonderful weekend, and enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
