A few of you lucky ones saw a cooling shower or thunderstorm late yesterday. Unfortunately, that was our last chance for rain for at least the next 6 to 7 days.

A large area of high pressure will build across north Texas over the next week, this will shut off rainfall chances and allow temperatures to warm up to slightly above seasonal levels. Morning lows will be in the mid to upper seventies with daytime highs today and tomorrow will be in the mid nineties and then upper nineties to near 100 Sunday through most of next week.

I always try to find some good news in my forecasts, so here you go. No air quality alert in effect for today and for the foreseeable future, as the wind will pick up from the south starting tomorrow through next week 10-25mph.
