Parts of North Texas receive more than 2 inches of rain Sunday; Flood Watch remains in effect

Areas of southeast of Dallas-Fort Worth remained under a Flood Watch on Monday after much of North Texas received more than 1 1/2 inches of rain on Sunday.

DFW Aiprot recorded more than 1 1/2 inches of precipitation on Sunday, as did Denton. McKinney receieved more than an inch of rain, while some places southeast of Dallas-Fort Worth mesaured as much as 2 1/2 inches.

The Flood Watch, which expires at 7 p.m. Monday, includes Anderson, Bell, Freestone, Falls, Henderson, Leon, Limestone, McLennan, Milam, Navarro, and Roberston counties.
