Friday starts out with temperatures in the upper sixties and low seventies under a clear sky. We will see plenty of sunshine today, hazy and warm with afternoon highs near 90゚. It's also another Ozone Action Day today.
Late this afternoon, a large complex of storms will form in the Panhandle and in west Texas late this afternoon and plow towards us after midnight. Unfortunately, we'll have some pretty stable air overhead overnight, so these storms will weaken significantly as they move across north Texas before daybreak Saturday.

Storm chances late Saturday afternoon and evening will depend on how fast we clear out during the day. In other words, if the clouds erode fast enough and the atmosphere destabilizes. Afternoon highs will reach the upper eighties.

Sunday is our best chance of rain over the next 7 days. Latest data suggests the heaviest rain will fall south of I 20, but some of you will see some rain north of this line, but it won't be as widespread. Afternoon highs will reach the mid eighties.

A few leftover showers and storms will develop late in the day on Monday, with highs in the mid eighties.
Storm chances diminish Tuesday and Wednesday, but may return by Thursday. Afternoon highs will creep back into the upper eighties.
