It's almost over y'all! We actually reached 33° for about an hour and a half yesterday but now we're well down into the teens to low 20s, as residual water has turned to black ice this morning. Please be careful if you have to get out!
Good chilly Tuesday morning ladies and gentlemen! I'm sure a lot of you are getting cabin fever by now, so if you want to venture out for a little while, I would wait till after the noon hour when the roads will start to slush up a bunch. Temperatures should be about freezing by 10:00 a.m. and will be in the low 40s by mid-afternoon today with increasing cloud cover.
There will be a lot more water around overnight tonight. This being said, temperatures will dip into the mid to upper 20s by daybreak Wednesday. So once again, black ice will be an issue. Schools may have a delayed opening on Wednesday, some may cancel one more day.
Temperatures will warm back into the low to mid 40s. By Thursday, many areas will get into the low to mid 50s! Heck yeah!
Our next subtle weather change arrives on Thursday late by late afternoon. The first and two cold fronts will arrive dropping temperatures back to slightly below freezing on Friday morning. Sunny and colder with highs in the mid 40s by afternoon. The second front will be an Arctic front. This one arrives Friday night dropping temperatures well down into the 20s on Saturday morning. Some areas will struggle to get above 32°!
Sunday will be cold as well with lows in the 20s, afternoon highs back in the low to mid 40s. We'll be in the 50s by Monday!
I think this has been my shortest forecast discussion in 5 days. Thank you so much for following my page, have a blessed day and enjoy the weather when you can, it's the only weather you've got!
