Staying warm in North Texas, no rain for at least the next 7 days

Its another quiet, calm and comfortable start across north Texas, as temperatures have fallen into the upper fifties to low sixties.

Readings will warm rapidly today into the upper eighties. Our average high temperature should be at 81゚.


Above normal temperatures will continue through the end of the week, but due to more cloud cover on Friday, temperatures will be held down to the lower eighties.

A rapid warm up will take place this weekend as some areas will reach the 90゚ plateau or even higher by Sunday.

Our next cold front will arrive sometime Monday afternoon or evening, but temperatures will still warm into the upper eighties. It will be slightly cooler on Tuesday with highs near eighty.

Unfortunately, no rain is in the forecast for the foreseeable future...and Temperatures will continue to be slightly above normal starting the middle  of next week.
