Jackets necessary this morning as temperatures have fallen into the 40s away from town. Radar is quiet and I'm not expecting anything on it. If anybody sees any raindrops, it'll be late Thursday morning into the early afternoon... as our next cold front arrives. Chances will be mainly east of Dallas.
Highs today will reach the low 80s and even warmer temperatures are expected tomorrow. Some areas may touch 90.
Our next in a series of cold fronts arrives Thursday around lunchtime. Afternoon highs will occur in the morning and then fall into the 60s by late afternoon, with a strong gusty wind from the north. Elevated fire danger is a concern, especially west at Fort Worth.
Friday may be our coolest morning so far this fall as temperatures fall into the 40s area wide. Highs on Friday will struggle to hit 70, mid 70s Saturday, and low 80s on Sunday. Mornings this weekend will be cool and comfortable.
A VERY dry & cool northwesterly flow in the upper levels will continue the drag at least two more cold fronts into the area. The next one will move through sometime Sunday and then again next Tuesday, keeping temperatures below normal next week!
