Recent rains have improved the drought picture in Texas.
The U.S. Drought Monitor now says about ten percent of Texas is in the worst two levels of drought.
Last week it was over 30 percent and three months ago, it was 55 percent.
Overall, the Drought Monitor says recent rainfall in Texas throughout the past month has started to make a significant dent in the state's drought conditions in some areas.
