Disaster relief teams from the Texas Baptist men are still working non-stop to clean up damage in Texas and Louisiana from Hurricane Laura.
They are also serving meals to people in Newton, Sabine and Orange counties in Texas. David Wells is the interim director of disaster relief for the Texas Baptist Men. He's helping in Orange, Texas.
Wells says, "Some of our volunteers are drained. But, their spirits are wonderful. They've been serving the Lord. So, they are excited about the things they've been able to do. Still, their hearts just break for a lot of homeowners who still need help."
He says right now they are not on alert but they are preparing crews to help with Hurricane Delta. If you would like information on how to help, just go to tbmtx.org.
