It's cold again this morning, but seasonable for this time of the year. Temperatures have fallen into the mid to upper thirties across north Texas.
A breezy south wind returns today warming us up to near 60゚. Clouds will start to thicken up this evening giving way for our next chance of rain. I'm not expecting heavy rain, but enough to wet the roadways overnight. This rain will move out by mid morning tomorrow giving way for a very-very windy day and warm as well! Winds will gust from the WSW up to 40 to 45 mph as temperatures warm into the low to mid seventies! Should be a pretty dusty sunset tomorrow as well.
A dry and breezy cold front passes through early Sunday morning, cooling us down into the mid to upper 50s for highs.
Chilly mornings and cool afternoons will prevail Monday and Tuesday next week. Lows in the thirties highs in the sixties.
Southwest winds will really pick up on Wednesday, warming us up into the low 70s!
Our next decent cold front arrives early Thursday morning bringing a slight chance of showers with it. Temperatures will start off mild near 60 in the early morning and then fall into the forties by afternoon.
Note: The extended weather model data from next Sunday (9 days from now) through midweek the following week...is trending SUPER COLD! Data is showing temperatures falling into the low twenties by Sunday evening (with precipitation) and down into the single digits for Monday morning. High temperatures only in the teens on Monday and twenties Tuesday and Wednesday. And, if we see any kind of upper level disturbance ride over this Arctic air, we could be in a little bit of some trouble. Still 9 days away from this possible event, but it bares watching... Please remember, Arctic air is very dry and any moisture interacting with this type of air mass usually get zapped (evaporates).
