
A ton of nonsevere rain, chilly temperatures, some sunshine, and then a warm up. Those are your weather stories on this rainy Friday morning.
We're waking up the temperatures near 60° and large swath of rain working its way in from the west towards the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
There have been some reports of some small hail around the Weatherford and Granbury area this morning. The big weather story, a lot of rain will be impacting north Texas through the day today causing major slowdowns on the roadways as well as some isolated flooding.

The first wave of rain will be crossing the area through the morning producing up to an inch of rain. More waves of rain will develop through the afternoon and evening hours as a strong upper level low cruises down Interstate 20. We may get a little bit of a break early to mid afternoon today, but the rain will return this evening, but not as heavy and widespread as what we'll see the first half of today.
Temperatures will fall into the 50s this afternoon with the north wind gusting to 25 mph. It'll be a chilly raw day today.
More scattered showers will continue through the overnight and through noon tomorrow. Average rainfall totals will be between 2 and 3 inches across north Texas, with isolated higher amounts. Temperatures tomorrow morning will fall into the low to mid 50s and we'll struggle to hit 60° tomorrow afternoon with VERY slow clearing.

Sunday looks nice with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 60s. We'll warm into the low 70s for halloween. Mid-70s Tuesday through Thursday of next week. There's a slight chance of showers to our south on Tuesday into early Wednesday.
