The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is back for 2026, running January 16 through February 7 at Dickies Arena and the Will Rogers Memorial Center, and once again it's set to take over Cowtown in the best possible way. One of the longest-running livestock shows in the country, the Stock Show blends top-tier rodeo competition with a massive showcase of Texas culture — from livestock and horse shows to carnival rides, shopping, food vendors, and hands-on family attractions. While the nightly rodeos inside Dickies Arena are ticketed, much of the surrounding grounds are free to explore, making it an easy all-day outing whether you're there for the cowboys, the animals, or just a corny dog and a stroll.

This year's rodeo schedule features several standout events that give each night its own flavor. Opening weekend includes the Best of the West Ranch Rodeo, followed by crowd favorites like the Best of Mexico Celebración, Cowboys of Color Rodeo, and the always-popular Bulls' Night Out. The heart of the event is the FWSSR PRORODEO Tournament, which runs from late January through the final weekend with a $1.5 million purse and some of the best competitors in the sport. Off the dirt, longtime traditions continue with the All Western Parade through downtown Fort Worth, plus youth livestock competitions, petting zoos, and educational exhibits that keep the Stock Show rooted in its agricultural mission. It's big, it's busy, and for a few weeks every winter, it's unmistakably Fort Worth.
