The guys from Saint Motel stopped by the KROQ studios to perform three songs from The Original Motion Picture Sountrack: Part 1 live, then stayed for a chat with Stryker about what comes next, the influences behind this newest project, and playing their music acoustic.
Their latest project The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, which will span over three separate EP releases, required a different creative approach, with the band finally getting a break after nonstop touring for the past couple years.
When asked about the inception of the song "Van Horn", lead singer A.J. talks about drawing inspiration from a "magical" place where the band had a day off in Texas, which also explains some of the Western influence.
