To say we are stoked about this year’s KROQ Weenie Roast Luau & Beach Party location is an understatement. A full day of great tunes is one thing, but being able to party with Snoop, 311, Silversun Pickups, and Limp Bizkit right next to the water is going to be epic. To ensure that fans experience little to no hiccups in arriving at our party destination, we wanted to create a small cheat sheet of smart ways to get down to Doheny State Beach.

HOW DO I DRIVE TO WEENIE ROAST?
To Doheny State Beach in Dana Point, exit the 5 Freeway at the Pacific Coast Highway/Highway 1/ Beach Cities exit and travel north on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left on Dana Point Harbor Drive, first left into Doheny State Beach.
Travel north on the 5 Freeway, exit the 5 Freeway at the Pacific Coast Highway/Camino Las Ramblas exit and travel north on Pacific Coast Highway. Turn left on Dana Point Harbor Drive, left into Doheny State Beach
HOP A TRAIN
Whether you are coming from the Los Angeles area, the Inland Empire, or even further south towards San Diego, Amtrak is GREAT way to skip the traffic, the parking, and stress. In fact, the closest stop is located just three miles from the venue. With reasonable rates and trains running regularly, it makes sense to get the group together, park and ride. The last Amtrak trains leave the stop Saturday night at 10:26pm (NB) and 11:36pm (SB) - so don't be late!

SHUTTLE IT
For those driving their cars to the concert, be warned, the parking at Doheny Beach itself is very limited and is FOR SURE going to fill up early. One way to sidestep all that is to hop on a shuttle and get dropped off directly in front of the concert entrance. Roundtrip shuttle passes are $10 and depart every 30 minutes starting at 11:30 AM. The last shuttle going back leaves 30 minutes after the concert. Shuttle passes cost $15 per person BUT parking at the pick-up location is absolutely free. Kiddos 7 & under get to ride the shuttle for free.

If you're looking to purchase a shuttle pass day-of, they're available at the Outlets at San Clemente for $15. Shuttle passes are NOT available online day-of event.
RIDESHARE
Naturally, all the major rideshare services will be readily available for you to use to the Weenie Roast site. The designated drop off and pick up site is just a short walk from the concert and cars will be aplenty considering the number of patrons. Nearby cities like San Juan Capistrano, Dana Point, and San Clemente make for great locations to park and hop onto your favorite app.
