Beach Weather chats with Megan Holiday before intimate live performance at KROQ

Beach Weather stopped by to chat with host Megan Holiday and perform an intimate set for several lucky winners inside the KROQ Sound Space. The band released their album Pineapple Sunrise back on March 3rd featuring their massive single "Sex, Drugs, Etc." and was in town between shows at the Novo and House of Blues Anaheim where they're opening for lovelytheband.

Discussing everything from the previous night’s “awesome” show, possible Weird Al sighting, and some incredible accomplishments - Nick Santino, Sean Silverman, and Reeve Powers shared the most surreal moments of their incredible year thus far, which includes their “number one Alternative song of 2023,” "Sex, Drugs, Etc.” of their album Pineapple Sunrise, going certified Platinum.

“Just a general, people caring about our band, as crazy as that sounds, it seems kinda nuts,” Nick said. “We’ve been all doing this for a minute, so for the last year to be what it was to us… as a whole it’s just crazy.”

BottleRock was crazy," Sean added. “We had like no expectations and then it was like, I got very nervous the minute we stepped up there, and it was just crazy”

Keeping in line with incredible music festival moments Reeve noted “I'm a huge Suki Waterhouse fan,” and playing ahead of her at Shaky Knees, “felt insane to me.”

Also up for discussion, their involvement in and approach to making their music videos, their new song “Unloveable,” as well as their hiatus back in 2017 and making sure they continue to just have fun.
