Edgehill on the beginnings of their band: 'We were making stuff and becoming friends along the way'

The Nashville trio join Kevin Ryder and Megan Holiday inside the KROQ studio

Edgehill continues to carve out a trail in music, as the trio from Nashville has gone from local house shows to viral social moments to opening for bands like Kaleo and The Hails.

The group's latest offering is "Doubletake," and Chris Kelly, Jake Zimmermann, and Aidan Cunningham recently joined Kevin Ryder and Megan Holiday inside the KROQ studio to talk about their origin, the thrill of a house show, and the "self-reflection" for their latest track.

"it's a lot about like self-reflection and doubting yourself a lot and finally just saying you're gonna move through it and move on," says Jake, "and having that confidence to put things behind you."

"We're pretty reflective people for better or for worse and so it comes pretty naturally."
