After hearing the news about the death of our dear friend and longtime DJ Jed The Fish on Monday, we called up some of his closest friends and co-workers from throughout his 30+ year career at KROQ to join us for an afternoon celebration of his life.

Kevin Ryder, formerly of Kevin & Bean, was recently brought back to KROQ to host afternoons so we used his shift as an opportunity to share stories of Jed "The Fish" Gould throughout the afternoon. In-studio guests included Richard Blade, Freddy Snakeskin, Doug "Sluggo" Roberts, Tami Heide, Jay "Lightning" Tilles, Megan Holiday, Andy Shuon, Gia DeSantis, Darcy Fulmer and Rick Rippey. We also took calls from Gene "Bean" Baxter, Swedish Egil, and Noodles from The Offspring. Watch the full show below.

Since news of his death broke, tons of bands and former KROQ staff have shared their own stories of Jed and how he personally affected their careers, including tributes from The Offspring, System Of A Down, The Crystal Method, Papa Roach, Incubus, Garbage, Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel and Elvira, among others. Evan Lovett from LA In A Minute also did a great comprehensive piece on Jed's life.

Thanks to everyone who has shared their stories of our beloved friend Jeddum Fishum.
