Lil Dusty G stopped by the KROQ Studios for his first ever radio interview to chat with Kevan Kenney about his 90's alternative influences, getting discovered by Marshmello, and more!
Lil Dusty G, real name Dustin Muriel, was born in Florida and moved to the Dallas area about 5 years ago where he started releasing music. When asked about what kind of music he listened to growing up, he states "All kinds of stuff, when I was younger like mostly just 90's stuff like Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden... Radiohead is probably my favorite band."
Lil Dusty G is the only artist signed to DJ Marshmello's Polar Culture label (which consists mainly of producers), and the two recently collaborated on the track "Preached" which you can hear above. He has a new EP coming soon and recently released his album Undergrowth which you can check out HERE.
