
Upon the state of California's announcement Friday afternoon that indoor concerts, theater performances and other gatherings could resume on April 15th, both the Lakers & Clippers have announced that they are ready to welcome fans back to STAPLES Center this month.
The Lakers will host fans for the first time in more than a year when they play the Boston Celtics on April 15th & the Clippers will welcome fans back to the arena on April 18th when they play the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Los Angeles Times reports that fans will need to show proof of a negative COVID-19 test, or vaccination card to attend and that in LA County's current red tier, 10% capacity would be allowed in (2,000 fans). Face coverings are required and no bags of any kind are allowed in.
The Los Angeles Kings plan to have fans back in the arena on April 20th for their game vs. Anaheim.
