11/14 Election Update:
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorded announced on Monday that 191,312 ballots were added, bringing the total amount of ballots reporting to 1,799,951.
Karen Bass is now in the lead, with 52.15% of the votes (354,948 votes) and Caruso taking in 47.85% of the votes (325,677.)
In the race for Los Angeles County Sheriff, Robert Luna is in the lead with 59.84 % of the votes (987, 730 votes). Villanueva has 40.16 % of the votes (663, 893).
11/10 Election Update:
The Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorded released election result updates on Thursday evening, noting 134,099 ballots were added, which brought the total ballots reporting to 1,452,192.
Rick Caruso and Karen Bass are still neck in neck for city mayor with Caruso in the lead with 50.25% of the votes and Bass with 49.75% of the votes.
The new results also showed Robert Luna is still in the lead for Los Angeles County Sheriff with 57.5% of the votes, while Villanueva has 42.25 % of the votes.
Election officials said the next update will come Friday afternoon.
