Comprised of members Tyrone Lindqvist, Jon George and James Hunt, RÜFÜS DU SOL have come to occupy the intersection of charming indie dance and intelligent electronic music. With a style that expertly blends infectious songwriting with delectable deep house grooves, the trio have carved out a signature sound that is both poignant and relentlessly infectious.
Much of the group’s success has been predicated on their live show: a highly emotional affair which finds the trio adopting a traditional band setup on stage, while performing texturized, synth-heavy reinterpretations of their songs. It’s a show which has earned the group a loyal international fanbase, taking them across the world from North America’s Lollapalooza to Serbia’s EXIT Festival.
