Boys attacked homeless man with tripod in Long Beach: reports

Three boys were arrested in Long Beach for allegedly attacking a man on Saturday.

Police said the boys attacked the man with tent poles and a tripod near the corner of Pacific and East Broadway.

The boys – ages 12, 14, and 15 – were arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the Los Angeles Times. Multiple outlets reported that the boys approached the man and got into an argument with him.

Police said that the man was treated at the scene, but didn’t want to go to the hospital.

According to the L.A. Times, reports showed that the man was homeless, but police haven’t confirmed that information.
