Ventura County Fire crews are battling with a brush fire in Thousand Oaks that's moving toward some homes.
It's in the Westlake Village area just north of Westlake High School.
Evacuations are in place for Via Colinas and Country Valley Road.
Ventura County Fire Department PIO on Twitter said Thursday "Evacuations are in place for Via Colinas and Country Valley rd. @VCSOVentura will be controlling traffic and notifying residents."
ROAD CLOSURES:
"Current road closures are TO Blvd from Lakeview Cyn to Via Merida. All access to a Lake View Blvd and Via Merida is shutdown. Via Colinas and portions of Lakeview Blvd are under evacuations."
