
A fire damaged a Santa Ana home and killed a dog inside, authorities said Monday.
The fire was reported by neighbors who saw the smoke at 5:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2600 block of Ramona Drive, according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
Firefighters put out the flames within eight minutes, fire officials said.
There were no human injuries but the deceased dog was found inside the house, fire officials said.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
