Driver Killed After Crashing Into Fire Truck in Jurupa Valley

LITTLEROCK, Calif. (KNX) - A person was killed today after the vehicle the victim was driving crashed into a fire truck parked at the scene of a different crash in Jurupa Valley, authorities said.

A Cal Fire engine was parked at the intersection of Highway 60 and Valley at around 12:25 p.m. when the crash occurred, the Riverside County Fire Department reported.

The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

No firefighter injuries were reported.

The California Highway Patrol was investigating the accident.

No further information was immediately available.
