With the Super Bowl — wait who are we kidding— we mean the Super Bowl Halftime Show just a couple days away, Eminem is spilling some deets about the planed performance, assuring no wardrobe malfunctions will occur this go around.

Sharing his feelings of excitement for being part of the show, along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige and Kendrick Lamar, Eminem admitted to radio host Sway Calloway, “I’m gonna tell you, it’s f****ing nerve-wracking.” Adding, “to me, there’s nothing more final than live TV. You know what I’m saying? So if you f*** up, your f*** up is there forever.”
But it’s all good, the short list of heavy hitters set to wow at the mid point of the legendary sports game have decades of success and experience between them. And luckily for Em, when his mentor Dre made the ask, he already had a success plan in place.
“When Dre first asked, when the whole thing started going down and we were like, ‘ok, this might be actually serious.’ I was trying to envision what Dre might do,” Em said. “I was thinking like, ‘yeah, it’s dope that all of us are gonna rap together.’ [But] I didn’t expect it to be, like the production to be like this.” Ummm… that’s exciting.
The details of the performance with the incredible production level are of course being kept under tight wraps. However, Em did share his thoughts on his feels about the baby of the bunch (well when it comes to years on the map) as Lamar has shown why he’s one of the game’s G.O.A.T. already.
After Calloway noted and asked Em, “Kendrick to me is the most electrifying vocalists of this generation, would you agree?” Em said, “I absolutely would agree,” going on to note, “Kendrick is at the very top, top tier of lyricists. Not just of this generation, but of all-time.”
In other Super Bowl Halftime Show related news, during a press conference held on Thursday February 10, Dre promised that Em and Snoop in particular would keep things PG-13. And if you’re thinking he was referring to the usually explicit lyric department… he wasn’t.
He was talking nudity, and while Dre does assure surprises, a so-called “un-planned” wardrobe malfunction will not be one of them.
"I had to talk Snoop and Eminem out of pulling their penises out," Dre said. "It's just actually Eminem.” Which with the memories of “Nipple-Gate” recently revitalized after the recent Janet Jackson docuseries, were sure that helps everyone breathe a sigh of relief.
