A fire damaged a fourplex in the Valley Glen area Tuesday, but no one was hurt.
Firefighters sent to the 12400 block of West Archwood Street at 11:25 a.m. extinguished the flames in 25 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

"The fire was contained to two bedrooms and prevented from extending to the adjacent units," the LAFD said in a statement. "The primary and secondary search of the affected units did not locate any occupants."
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
