A fire damaged a house in the Lake Balboa area Wednesday.
Firefighters sent to the 6500 block of North McLennan Avenue at 10:26 a.m. extinguished the flames in the single-story building in 23 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

No injuries were reported. The fire department said some pets were at the location, but it was unclear if they were all rescued.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
