Firefighters battle 3-alarm blaze at Lynwood building

Firefighters battled a three-alarm blaze at a commercial building in Lynwood on Wednesday morning.

The fire was reported in the 5400 block of Cortland Street just before 8:10 a.m., according to the L.A. County Fire Department.

The fire was near Marco Antonio Firebaugh High School. It was called a "flat roof,” so firefighters were limited to ladders and were kept a safe distance away.”

Firefighters also experienced issues with the water pressure, according to KABC.

A HAMZAT team was called out.

There are no reported injuries at this time.

The cause of the fire was not clear.
