Teasing their imminent comeback, Florence + The Machine sent some of their fans letters and cards, to share some exciting news. Also backed up with an email newsletter announcement heralding the news that "something's coming…”
Listen to Audacy's Women of Alt now, for a collection of songs from some of the most iconic women in the history of Alternative radio.

Delivered via snail mail to a select few was and ornate pink playing card with Florence’s image on the front, right above the word “KING.” The card, which has also found a home on the band’s updated website, arrived to Florence fans in a pink envelope, embossed with “Florence + The Machine: Chapter 1.”
As it seems, “KING” will be the name of the first Florence + The Machine single from their latest project. Which then, due to the power of deduction, leads us to believe that the album’s title could be “Chapter 1,” but who actually knows.
The last heard from Florence Welch and Co. was 2018, when they released High As Hope. Not counting their one off track released in 2020, “Light Of Love”, and their 2021 contribution to Disney’s Cruella with “Call Me Cruella.”
While no single or album release dates have been shared, Florence + The Machine are set to make their live comeback this summer, headlining a host of European festivals. Including Norway’s Øya, Finland’s Flow and Madrid’s Mad Cool.
