Glass Animals have officially unveiled their 2024 album I Love You So F***ing Much, the U.K. Alp-pop band's fourth studio offering featuring 10 new tracks including the previously released singles "A Tear in Space (Airlock)." "Creatures In Heaven," and more. Along with the album drop, Glass Animals also revealed a new visualizer for the album opener, "Show Pony." Scroll below for the full tracklisting and album art.
"Coming back into the world” post-COVID, frontman Dave Bayley told us during our recent Audacy Check In, “I think we’re all a little bit lost. And you know the natural place for us is to just hide in the studio, alone, be a little bit isolationist about it, in our underpants... We just kept it as it always was, just sit down, focus, work on making the best thing that you can, without thinking about the past.”
Every song on the album is written with specific people in mind, as Dave elaborated, "some are kind of more an amalgamation of people where similar thing happened.” The common thread is they’re all “very very personal," he says, which left him slightly nervous about the level of vulnerability on the album. While the last album was personal as well, "it was very much about things that happened a long time ago,” so there was this “level of detachment.” With their smash hit “Heat Waves,” “being such a personal song," along with “a lot of the other songs in the last record,” the “positivity” and “kindness that came back from the people” on the last album cycle gave the band the “courage to do something, to push further,” which is “always the goal with the record,” he says.
Glass Animals will be bringing the f***ing love to your town this summer on their 2024 global TOUR OF EARTH, taking the band to some of the biggest venues of their career so far. See the full North American itinerary below -- Tickets are on sale now.
