A body was found Friday in the Santa Clarita area, and an investigation was underway.
The body was discovered about 9:20 a.m. Friday near Bouquet Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
Information was not immediately available on the identity or gender of the person, nor on a cause of death.

According to reports from the scene, the body was discovered near a city bike trail.
