The NBA is giving a special treat to the 16 teams who made last season’s Orlando bubble playoffs - and the Lakers are getting an even more unique treat, honoring their championship win.
The new Earned Edition Laker jerseys are dark grey with gold and purple pops of color. On the back collar, the number 17 is displayed, representing the number of titles the team has won, and instead of a silver Nike swoosh, the Lakers have a gold one, as the defending NBA champs.
The Lakers will likely show off the new jerseys at Friday’s game against the Indiana Pacers and the jersey will begin selling publicly next week.
