A 55-year-old man who died while three others were rushed to a hospital from a possible drug overdose in Lakewood was identified Monday by the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.

Deputies were dispatched at 1:10 a.m. Sunday to the 6000 block of Dillman Street in response to a "person not breathing" call, a watch commander at the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Lakewood station told City News Service. The victims were described as four adults.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, she said, and paramedics rushed three people to a hospital.

The dead victim was identified Monday as Lakewood resident Henry Salgado Jr., according to the medical examiner.

The conditions of the other victims were not immediately known.

ABC7 reported that authorities suspect the victims overdosed on fentanyl, but the sheriff's department could not immediately confirm that report.
