LOS ANGELES (KNX) — LAX experienced a power outage Tuesday afternoon as a storm swept through Southern California.
Just before 2 p.m., LAX tweeted that crews were looking into the power outage.
Around 2:10 p.m., the airport announced the power was back on and systems were in the process of being reset.
The storm also caused one lane of the Sepulveda Tunnel to flood, according to CBS LA. Standing water in the area caused the lane to be shut down around 9.am.; however, the lane reopened shortly after.
