This year will mark the 10th anniversary of LCD Soundsystem’s massive Madison Square Garden “farewell” show.

The group has since reunited, toured, and released a new record, but James Murphy and the group still reminisce about the epic New York show. In order to celebrate the concert’s 10th anniversary, LCD Soundsystem will be releasing a vinyl pressing of the show’s companion live album and a first-time CD release.
The Long Goodbye: LCD Soundsystem Live at Madison Square Garden will be sold as a 5-LP vinyl box set or a 3-CD set, going on sale on August 6th. The pre-orders for the vinyls and the CDs are already open.
Originally, The Long Goodbye was released in 2014, and is a full-length recording of the band’s 28-song set, running nearly three hours. The show was played on April 2nd, 2011 at Madison Square Garden and was consider the band’s final performance, before reuniting four years later.
