Originally recorded as a follow up to his 1999 album hours… and leaked online in 2011, David Bowie’s lost 2001 record Toy will finally see the proper light of day as it is included in the late icon’s new box set spanning the years of 1999-2001.
Bowie’s Toy, featuring reimagined versions of some of his earliest tracks, was put on the shelf after disputes between the artist and his label at the time, Virgin. Now fans will have a chance to hear it in two ways -- as part of a new career-spanning box set and as a separate special offering.

One way to experience the album in all of its intended glory is as a part of the new CD or vinyl box set David Bowie 5. Brilliant Adventure (1992-2001) when it hits shelves on November 26, 2021. Another comes next year as a separate special release on January 7, 2022, in three-CD or six-10″ vinyl versions.
